Project Summary:

Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation developed Pêmiska Tourism with the goal of providing industry-leading cultural experiences.  The vision is to become an
influential, globally recognized Indigenous tourism brand in Canada representing nehiyaw (Cree) culture, heritage, and history and will provide visitors with Indigenous-led experiences that will showcase the vibrant history of our people.

Pêmiska Tourism is seeking proposals from qualified vendors or individuals to provide comprehensive housekeeping and laundry services for Pêmiska Lodges. The successful vendor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene standards and laundry services in each of the Pêmiska Lodges and tipis.

Scope of Work:

· Regular cleaning of Pêmiska Lodges and other designated facilities.

· Deep cleaning of designated areas as required, including floors, windows, and bathroom/kitchen fixtures.

· Restocking of supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and cleaning materials.

· Waste management and disposal.

· Specialized cleaning services for events and gatherings as needed.

· Laundry services including bedding and kitchen/bathroom towels and cloths.

· Adherence to all health and safety regulations and standards.

· Any certificates / education / qualifications relevant to housekeeping or laundry services.

· Detailed contact information.

· Proposed Rate (a rate that is based off of travel, time, supplies and experience) and any additional charges for specialized or extra services.

· Any additional information deemed relevant to the proposal.

Late submissions will not be considered.

Pêmiska Tourism reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and to waive any irregularities or informalities in the
proposals received. This request for proposal does not constitute a contract or obligation on the part of Beardy’s & Okemasis’ Cree Nation and Pêmiska Tourism to award a contract. All costs incurred in the preparation and submission of proposals shall be borne by the vendors.
