Here’s a chance to walk the off-beaten path and get back to nature. Acquaint yourself with the poplar, wild rose and the grasslands of our North Pasture or, at Fort Carlton Provincial Historic Park, while resting under the night skies. Bring your own tent or just bring your sleeping gear and stay in one of our tipis.

Canvas, poles, and rope are the materials that make up a tipi. But these coned-shaped shelters are more than the sum of their parts. A sense of community, connection, and ceremony takes place within the tipi.
