Get sleepy in a tipi
and wake up to the past.

Canvas, poles, and rope are the materials that make up a tipi. But these coned-shaped shelters are more than the sum of their parts. A sense of community, connection, and ceremony took place within the refuge of tipi walls. Spend a night or two in these Indigenous abodes and see for yourself the close knit way of life our people shared.

We call it the North Pasture.
You can call it your backcountry oasis.

Here’s a chance to walk the off beaten path and get back to nature. Acquaint yourself with the poplar, wild rose and original grasslands of the north pasture while resting under the night skies.

Located on the north side of Highway 212 in Beardy’s & Okemasis. Turn north at the turnoff just west of Dodgie’s Gas and drive for 1.4 km.
